Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of the Stargaze app and website. Stargaze is operated by Orvexa AI Technologies Private Limited ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using Stargaze, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy.

Your account

You must provide accurate information when creating an account and are responsible for activity on it. You must be at least 13 years old to use Stargaze. Keep your login details secure and tell us if you suspect unauthorized use.

Your content

You retain ownership of the videos, audio, and other content you upload. By publishing content on Stargaze, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide license to host, store, display, and distribute it to other users as part of operating and promoting the app. You are responsible for making sure you have the rights to any audio or footage you upload — the app asks you to confirm this for content taken from your device's gallery.

Talent Discovery, Media Kit and Opportunities

Talent Discovery and the Media Kit are optional features of Creator plans. Opportunities sent through Stargaze come from third parties: we do not vet senders, guarantee any opportunity, or take part in any arrangement between you and a sender. Never pay a fee to be considered for an opportunity. Senders must describe genuine opportunities and must not use Stargaze to spam, harass or mislead creators; you can report an opportunity in the app, and we may limit or block senders who break these rules. Teen accounts cannot be listed or contacted this way.

Acceptable use

Don't use Stargaze to post content that is illegal, infringes someone else's rights, is hateful, sexually explicit, or harasses others. Don't manipulate views, stars, comments or scores, use bots, or create fake engagement. You can report content or users in the app. We may remove content, disqualify entries or suspend accounts that violate these terms.

Challenges, scoring and prizes

Entering official challenges is free. Each challenge shows its own rules, dates and prize information.
Official entries must be fresh live recordings made for that challenge. Singing challenges do not allow background music; dance challenges require you to choose one of the challenge's official tracks.
Your Final Score combines an AI content score, audience engagement and judges' scores, weighted as shown for each challenge. Scores and rankings are generated as described in our Judgement Rules in the app, may be updated as engagement and judging are completed, and may be adjusted or corrected by us. Judges' decisions on integrity and disqualification are final.
Every creator has a Creator Score (0-100) for each month: AI performance score of their best videos (30%), genuine audience response from other people (25%), monthly challenge standing from their final challenge scores (25%), new followers (10%) and consistency (10%). It is calculated automatically from these scores; no one picks the winner by hand. The year's eligible months, averaged, decide Creator of the Year: months count from the first one you could take part in, a month without activity counts as zero, and an official place needs at least three months. A Creator Membership never raises your Creator Score. Engagement from your own account, brand-new accounts or manipulation does not count, and we may adjust or remove scores affected by it.
The creator with the highest Creator Score in a calendar month is named Creator of the Month, subject to the same eligibility and scoring rules that apply to Creator Score. The Creator of the Month is featured in the app for one week and retains the honour on their profile and in the Hall of Fame.
Prizes are awarded by us or the challenge's sponsor according to the prize information published for that challenge. Prizes are set in the currency shown for that challenge; any amount the app shows in another currency (marked “≈”) is an estimate only. Winners may be asked to verify their identity and eligibility, and prizes may be withheld where an entry breaks these terms or the challenge rules.
Claiming a cash prize: a cash prize appears in the winner's Wallet (Profile → wallet icon) once results are published. To claim it, the winner gives their full legal name, a UPI ID or bank account, their PAN and a phone number. We check the details and pay by UPI or bank transfer, usually within 7 working days; the winner is notified when it's paid. If the details don't work we ask the winner to correct them. Prizes are paid only to the winner, can't be transferred or exchanged for Orvexa Coins, and tax is deducted at source where the law requires it.
Winners under 18: can't enter payment details in the app; they contact support@stargaze.world and we arrange the prize.

Orvexa Coins

Orvexa Coins are an in-app reward. You earn them through programmes we offer, such as inviting friends who join Stargaze and post their first video.
Orvexa Coins have no cash value. They cannot be bought, sold, transferred to another account, or exchanged for money, and they are not a payment instrument or a deposit.
Where we offer it, you can use Orvexa Coins only on the in-app items and features we list, such as promotions for your videos or profile.
Orvexa Coins do not expire. We may remove coins earned through fake accounts, self-referral, manipulation or anything else that breaks these terms, and coins are lost if your account is deleted.
We may change how coins are earned or used, or end the programme, with notice in the app.

Termination

You may delete your account at any time from the Profile screen in the app. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

Disclaimer and liability

Stargaze is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for content posted by other users, and to the extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us (if any) in the twelve months before the claim.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes are subject to the courts of competent jurisdiction in India.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the app changes. Continued use of the app after a change means you accept the updated terms.

Language

These terms, the competition rules and our policies are written in English. We may offer translations for convenience; they are machine translations. If a translation differs from the English version in any way, the English version is final and legally binding.

Grievance Officer

In accordance with the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021, you can raise a complaint about content on Stargaze, the use of your personal information, or these terms with our Grievance Officer:

Please include your Stargaze username, a link to (or description of) the content concerned, and what you are asking us to do. You can also report any video, comment or account directly in the app.

We acknowledge every complaint within 24 hours and resolve it within 15 days of receiving it.
A complaint that content shows you (or someone you represent) in a state of nudity or a sexual act, or impersonates you, including through altered or synthetic images, is acted on within 24 hours.
If you are not satisfied with our decision, you may appeal to the Grievance Appellate Committee constituted by the Government of India, within 30 days of receiving our decision, at gac.gov.in.
