Child Safety Standards
Last updated: October 2026
Stargaze is a talent and short-video community operated by Orvexa AI Technologies Private Limited. We have zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE), including child sexual abuse material (CSAM). This page sets out our standards, how we prevent and detect abuse, how anyone can report it, and what we do when we find it.
What is prohibited
- Any content that sexualises a minor (anyone under 18), including images, videos, audio, text, drawings and AI-generated or altered material.
- Sharing, requesting or linking to child sexual abuse material.
- Grooming: building a relationship with a minor to sexually exploit them, or asking a minor for sexual content, personal meetings or private contact.
- Sextortion, trafficking, or any solicitation or exploitation of a minor.
- Content that praises, promotes or normalises the abuse of children.
These rules apply everywhere on Stargaze: videos, captions, comments, profiles and direct messages.
How we protect young people
- Minimum age 13. Every account gives a date of birth; anyone under 13 cannot use Stargaze.
- Teen accounts (13–17) are protected by default: private by default; direct messages only between people who follow each other; only people they follow can @mention them; others can't download their videos; no location on their posts; never listed in Talent Discovery and no public Media Kit; no purchases; no social or challenge notifications at night. Ages 13–15 stay private, can't open comments to everyone, and their videos can't be dueted.
- Every video is checked by an automated safety system before it is shown widely, including a check for content sexualising minors. Videos from new and teen accounts stay private until that check passes.
- Comments and profiles are checked automatically for sexual and abusive content.
- Message requests (messages from people you don't follow) are checked before they're delivered. Harmful ones are hidden behind a warning; sexual or child-endangering messages to a teen are never delivered and are reported to our safety team automatically. Any message can be reported with a long press.
- Blocking and muting are available on every account, and blocked people can't find, message or interact with the person who blocked them.
How to report
- In the app: on any video, comment or profile, tap Report — or long-press any direct message — and choose Child safety. These reports go straight to our safety team as urgent.
- By email: support@stargaze.world (subject “Child safety”), or our Grievance Officer at support@stargaze.world.
- If a child is in immediate danger, contact local emergency services first. In India: call 112, Childline 1098, or report at cybercrime.gov.in.
What we do
- Child safety reports are reviewed within 24 hours, ahead of all other reports.
- Content that breaks these standards is removed, and the account responsible is permanently banned.
- We preserve relevant evidence and report apparent child sexual abuse material and exploitation to the appropriate authorities, as required by law — in India under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act, 2012 and the Information Technology Act, 2000, including through the National Cyber Crime Reporting Portal — and to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC).
- We cooperate with law enforcement investigations in line with applicable law.
